New ap on the upper grade level iPads: Brain Trainer - as mentioned on pg 54 (www.lumosity.com) - purchased 3 months use - it is designed to improve Brain Performace Index (BPI) - measuring and tracking cognitive performance, and comparing ability areas. Just another way to use the iPad to help our kids, it's sure interesting.
This chapter talks about the brain as an Operating System and how to enrich student's learning, not just increase the content. I like figure 3.3 on page 56 - it illustrates what kids need to succeed.
